New: Recipe Materials
Ever wanted to know exactly what a recipe costs before you commit to crafting it? The new Recipe Materials page does exactly that — search any Classic or Classic TBC profession recipe, see what it actually makes, and get a live Auction House price breakdown for every material it needs.
How it works
- Search by name — type part of a recipe's name (e.g. "Sunfire" or "Exceptional Stats") to find it across every profession and skill tier.
- See the crafting spell and its materials — each result shows the recipe name, profession, and a full materials list with quantities.
- Live AH prices — every material is priced using our latest Auction House data, with a per-item subtotal and a grand total for the whole recipe.
- Send it to a shopping list — choose how many times you want to craft it, pick an existing shopping list (or create a new one), and add all the materials in one click.
Where to find it
Look under Auction House → Recipe Materials in the navigation. Once the materials are on your shopping list, they're tracked just like everything else there — price history, sparklines, and the best time to buy each item.
